Things have been pretty hectic here. We are remodeling the kitchen and both bathrooms at the beach. That has consumed us of late. Lots of calls to coordinate work, fixtures to pick out, supplies to purchase and DIY that needs doing. Here is a little something I am working on that has nothing to do with remodeling.

Henry’s Easter Outfit under construction! I am making him a sweet shirt out of white cotton lawn and will be pairing it with some blue shorts. I love the embellishments.

I am taking a Little Boy Easter Outfit Construction class at Stitch Therapy. I always learn a couple of tips when I take a class. I also enjoy the social aspect of taking a class – not to mention having the dedicated time to sew that makes sure that project is finished. I am making Gingersnap’s Cameron pattern. Don’t worry, the blue ink on the pin tucks is disappearing marker and will go away with water.

This will be Henry’s Easter outfit and I am sure he will get a lot of use out of it this summer. I love ‘church clothes’ on little ones. I am having so much fun making this. Henry will be the picture of sweetness with this shirt paired with blue shorts and some white socks. I will share when the outfit is finished. Until then, there are more calls to make and sinks to pick-up from the store, and . . . .
