Happy Easter! I have had my eye on the Cranberry Bliss Bars recipe from Skinnytaste for a long time. Why has it taken me so long to make them? I love cranberries and these bars are so pretty they get style points. It is always so crazy at Christmas time, that time gets away from me and I think – next year – next year I will make those cranberry bliss bars. Well no more waiting for me. I had all the ingredients and now is the time. Who says you have to wait for Christmas?!
Charlie brought some next door to share with our neighbor Dr. Kjar (pronounced care) who is 97 years young. Dr. Kjar likes a nice sweet as much as Charlie does, so Charlie likes to bring him something when he goes over to visit.
I am not a big white chocolate fan, but I am obsessed with cranberries. Cranberries are like little sprinkles of gems.
This will be Charlie’s Easter dessert. So pretty.
